Congratulations, General TPN-PB Bernardus Mawen

Commander of Defense Regional Command V West Papua National Liberation Army (TPN-PB) South Papua Region General TPN-PB Bernardus Mawen breathed his last breath at Kiunga District Hospital, Kiunga, Papua New Guinea Province today, Friday (11/16) at 07.30 morning when it's closed

Bernard Mawen, Commander of the Regional Defense Command (KODAP) V West Papua National Liberation Army (TPN.PB) in Merauke. bapak of all folk fighters in Anim Ha, also for thousands of people living in refugee camps along the Papua-PNG border.

Bernardus Mawen, is a cadre from the Victoria Headquarters after the 1971 Proclamation. Hundreds of river hills and dark jungle he traveled on from the north to the south of West Papua, carrying the Kodap V defense mandate. The sad story of meetings and farewells is told today.

A warrior who is smart, wise, assertive, responsible, consistent and not ambitious. All values of the attitude of true fighters have just been abandoned for the next generation of struggle.

General Mawen is known as the oldest guerrilla and has been the longest surviving in the jungle since the late 1960s. He is well-known as one of the Regional Commander who does not like to chase big names and always put forward the idea of unity in the internal consolidation of TNP-PB to fight for Papuan independence.

Good luck General! The nature of the ancestral land deprives you of peace. We have planted what we have planted until the intention is reached:

Free Papua.
